Steph’s Story: From Speechwriter to Storyteller

I had the pleasure of sitting down with children’s author Steph Katzovi in a truly lovely episode. After a 15-year career as a speechwriter and communications consultant at Deloitte, Steph followed her childhood dream and became a published author of the acclaimed middle-grade novels Hurricamp! and Miscommunicamp!, which bring to life the hilarious adventures of tweens at Camp Hillside. In our conversation, Steph shared her journey from corporate life to creative expression, her love of storytelling, and how she connects with young readers through wit, warmth, and wisdom.
